Quiet island hospitality
where time loosens its grip
and the Aegean sets the rhythm.
There is a corner of Kythera where mornings begin with the sound of cicadas and the first light on stone, rather than alarms and every day stress. Kytherian Harmony Retreats is a small constellation of homes and roomsscattered between hillside and cove, created for travellers who prefer unhurried days, bare feet and real night skies.
Nothing here is staged.
The houses are lived‑in, the landscape does most of the work, and your holiday slowly becomes less about doing and more about simply being.
Two landscapes,
one quiet holiday escape
Choose between two unique locations, offering comfort and serenity during your holidays.

Paleopolis
On the hillside above Paleopoli, our estate opens like a small, private world: olive groves, terraced gardens, glimpses of sea between trees. It feels remote yet connected—a place for long swims, afternoon reading and evenings that end under a sky full of stars.
Avlemonas
At Avlemonas, you step out with wet hair and a towel over your shoulder, walk to coffee in flip‑flops, and watch children jump from rocks where generations have done the same.
The sea is always in view, the village always close,
the mood always unforced.
Accommodations for slow days
Some guests arrive with a single book and stay in a simple room.
Others bring children, laptops, or a half‑finished manuscript and choose a house with more space to spread out.
From the Panorama Room to the Family Sea View Retreat and the quiet Cove Balcony House,
each space is pared back but generous where it matters: light, air, view, comfort.
You choose the setting; the island does the rest.
Kythera, the island
that stayed a little apart

Kythera sits between the Peloponnese and Crete, close in distance yet slightly out of time. There are known names—Chora, Kapsali, Paleopoli, Avlemonas—and then the unnamed things: the smell of thyme on a path at dusk, the echo in a small chapel, the way a hidden cove appears at the end of a dusty track. This is not an island for ticking boxes. It’s an island for stringing together small moments that stay with you long after you leave.
More reasons to stay with us
At Kytherian Harmony, the details are part of the experience. We offer the kind of practical comforts that make slower island stays easier to enjoy: reliable connection, EV charging, and the space to settle in with confidence, whether you are arriving for work, rest or a longer seasonal escape. This is Kythera with fewer compromises and more time to simply be.

High-speed internet
Always connected
even in quiet places
Our satellite-based high-speed internet makes remote work, video calls and easy streaming possible, even in an island setting where stable connectivity is rarely guaranteed. Enjoy in room
speed up to 100Mbps.

EV charging on-site
Charge overnight, explore freely
Guests travelling with an electric vehicle can stay with peace of mind, knowing there is an on-site charger (22kw) waiting for them. It means more freedom to discover Kythera without worrying about range or return journeys. Service
upon availability

Slow-season friendly stays
Made for spring,
late summer and autumn
Kytherian Harmony is also well suited to the softer months, when the island is calmer, the light is beautiful and the pace naturally slows. These are the best seasons for guests who want to walk, work, write, rest or simply stay a little longer.
